The lawsuit, which is filed against local resident of Azerbaijani origin Alik Ibragimov, has been forwarded to the Tselinsky District Court of Rostov Oblast (province), Russia.

Ibragimov is charged with inciting ethnic enmity, Ruffnews.ru reported.

“According to the investigation premise, the accused (…) made statements which incite enmity toward a group of people (Armenians) having a certain ethnic affiliation, convincing those present in the need for carrying out violent acts toward people of Armenian ethnicity, [and] forming a response of aggressive behavioral stereotype toward representatives of the Armenian nationality,” the respective investigative press release specifically notes.
