The government of Ukraine has published a decision on the expansion of the list of embargoed Russian goods, 112 Ukraine TV channel reports.
The decision N 28 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (20 Jan 2016) “On introducing changes to the list of Russian origin goods banned for import to the customs territory of Ukraine” was published in “Uryadoviy Courier” newspaper. The decision will come into force 10 days after its promulgation.
Earlier the Ukrainian PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk stated that the Cabinet of Ministers had expanded the list of goods banned for import from Russia by over 70 positions. The mentioned goods include onion, sauces, ketchup, fish, as well as confectionary, such as biscuits, white chocolate, etc. The restrictions on the import of goods from Russia will be valid till 5 August 2016 or until the cancellation by Russia of an analogous ban with respect to goods from Ukraine.
