Russia’s Guild Expert Council of Film Experts and Film Critics will select the winners of “White Elephant” prize through a secret vote. The winners will be publicly announced in February.

According to the official information, Vassiliy Sigarev’s “Country OZ” - which is the leader by the number of nominated positions - Aleksey Fedorchenko’s “Angels of Revolution” and Alexander Mindadze’s “Dear Hans, Dear Peter” claim for the title of the best picture, Interfax reports.  

Aleksey Fedorchenko, Alexander Mindadze and Anna Melikyan – who shot the film “About Love” – have been nominated for the title of “Best Director.”

The candidates of the best script writer include Yuri Arabov, Alexander Mindadze and authors of “Country Oz,” Vassiliy Sigarev and Andrey Ilyenkov. The Guild will also elect the best actor, actress, as well as winners among supporting actors and actresses.
