YEREVAN. – Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Monday had a meeting with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) member states’ ambassadors who are accredited in Armenia, and head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, Ambassador Andrey Sorokin, at the latter’s initiative.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the discussants conferred on the results of the OSCE Ministerial Council that was held in Belgrade in December 2015, the German Chairmanship of the OSCE in 2016, and several other matters that are on the OSCE agenda.

Nalbandian presented the ongoing Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, and outlined the importance of the respective active role of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries (US, Russia, and France).

Also, the interlocutors touched upon the results of the meeting between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and which was convened in Bern at the end of last year.

Edward Nalbandian highly commended the activities of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, and thanked Sorokin for his productive work.
