YEREVAN. - Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian today had a meeting with the Georgian Defense Minister Tinatin Khidasheli.

During the meeting, FM Nalbadian noted that the active contacts between the two countries and high-level visits contribute to the development of the Armenian-Georgian relations, as well as expansion of cooperation, Armenian MFA reports.

Thanking for the reception, Ms Tinatin Khidasheli presented the aim of her visit, as well as the results of the meeting with her Armenian counterpart.  

The sides also touched on the issues on the agenda, as well as possibilities of cooperation in the sphere of defense. Besides, exchange of opinions on regional issues took place.

Apart from this, FM Nalbandian presented to the Georgian Defense Minister the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group towards the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
