Armenia police are investigating the circumstances round an incident involving another Russian soldier from the Russian military base in Armenia’s city of Gyumri.
Rouzanna Yeranosyan, resident of the city’s Ani district, told Armenian News – NEWS.am that a drunken soldier began to knock at the door of their flat late in the evening. “He was knocking at the door and repeating “Open” all the time. We called police,”Rouzanna said, noting that after the incident with the Avetisyan family they keep their door locked.
The soldier was detained after staying for 40 minutes by the door of the flat.
The police said the circumstances round the incident are being investigated.
