YEREVAN. – A new meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs is planned to be organized in the near future.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, stated the aforesaid at Tuesday’s press conference.

The minister noted, however, that instead of achieving progress in the negotiation process to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, these mediators are forced to exert great efforts to prevent the Azerbaijani efforts to aggravate the situation. 

Nalbandian stressed that progress is not possible as long as Azerbaijan is making efforts to thwart the co-chairs’ efforts.

Reflecting on the need to engage Nagorno-Karabakh as a negotiating party throughout the negotiation process, Edward Nalbandian recalled that the mediators have repeatedly spoken about this need, and that this is mentioned in the documents, too.
