Initiatives for Development of Armenia (IDeA) co-founder Ruben Vardanyan has been elected a member of AGBU Central Board of Directors.

At the same time, Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) President Berge Setrakian and AGBU Central Administrative Board member Vasken Yacoubian have been elected to the Board of Trustees of the IDeA Foundation joining current board member Noubar Afeyan, IDeA press-service reports.

“I feel privileged and honored to join the Central Board of AGBU. This institution has been one of the most significant drivers of the survival of Armenians in the last century through its sustained and fine work in service of the Armenian,” Ruben Vardanyan said.

IDeA and AGBU are thus announcing a new format of cooperation which will be aimed at the development of Armenia and preservation of Armenian identity all over the world.
