YEREVAN. – The Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia, Armen Yeritsyan, on Wednesday met with newly appointed Iranian Ambassador Seyed Kazzem Sajjadi, and Iranian Embassy Adviser Sopani Par.

The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, first, Yeritsyan congratulated Sajjadi on his appointment as Ambassador to Armenia.

The minister presented the ministry’s functions, and outlined the domains where it can contribute to making Armenian-Iranian cooperation grow deeper. Also, he noted that the matter of the Iraq-Iran-Armenia road is being discussed.

Ambassador Sajjadi, for his part, noted that he aims to deepen Armenia-Iran collaboration in all domains.

Subsequently, the interlocutors conferred on cooperation in several areas of emergency situations.

Armen Yeritsyan assured that the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia will do everything to intensify Armenian-Iranian collaboration.
