YEREVAN. – The foreign investments to Armenia increased by approximately $80 million, from January to September 2015.  

Minister of Economy Karen Chshmarityan on Wednesday told the abovementioned to reporters, as he summed up the country’s economic results for the year past.

In his words, the total investments were $296.7 million while the net flow was close to $262.2 million, or $38 million more.

Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg, Argentina, the UAE, France, and the US were Armenia’s main investors in 2015.

And these foreign investments were primarily directed at the country’s mining industry, energy sources, processing industry, trade, IT and telecommunications, and agriculture.
