Three criminals violently beat publicist, traveler and member of the Russian Geographical Society, Andranik Suleymanyan, and stole his document case. The criminals awaited him on Rashupkina street.

According to the information of the law enforcement authorities, the man called the police and said that the criminals have seized his folder with files. The publicist was soon picked by Ambulance, Lifenews.

The doctors diagnosed him with periorbital hematoma of both eyes, as well as numerous hematomas of face and head.  The police officers operatively detained three suspects, who are citizens of Uzbekistan.

The motives behind the incident are being investigated.
