The situation was relatively calm along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, from Wednesday to early Thursday morning.

During this time, however, the Azerbaijani army vanguard divisions, unlike their mortar strikes during the previous days, fired shots at several Armenian positions solely by way of rifle weaponry.

But the position holders of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army primarily refrained from taking corresponding actions, and resorted to restrictive measures only when absolutely necessary.
