YEREVAN. – First Deputy Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan on Thursday met with Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Świtalski.

The Ministry of Defense (MOD) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the interlocutors discussed the opportunities for cooperation between the Armenian MOD and the EU institutions.

The parties shared the view that receiving advisory support for human rights issues in the Armenian armed forces, and launching cooperation between the Armenian MOD National Defense Research University and the European Union Institute for Security Studies could be especially promising in this connection.
