YEREVAN. – A 2-percent increase in electricity prices was recorded in Armenia in January 2016, as compared to November and December 2015.

Gurgen Martirosyan, adviser to the President of the Armenian National Statistical Service, noted the aforementioned at a press conference on Monday.

Martirosyan added, however, that a 15.1- and 18-percent reduction was recorded in the gasoline and diesel fuel prices, respectively, in January of the current year, as compared to January and February of the year past.
