YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received information on Wednesday at 3:46am.

Accordingly, fire had broken out in a house in capital city Yerevan.

Two fire and rescue squads as well as rapid response and operational teams from the Crisis Management Center were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was put out at 4:26am.

As a result of the fire, however, the kitchen and bathroom of the house were completely destroyed, whereas the suspended ceiling in the living room was partially burnt.

Prior to the fire and rescue workers’ arrival at the scene, G. K., 22, was able to come out of the house.

The fire and rescue workers brought B. K., 69, out of the house, and the injured was hospitalized. 

Physicians say the patient is in satisfactory condition.
