A protest was staged in Georgievsk, Russia.
Over one hundred demonstrators demanded an objective investigation into the brutal murder of an Armenian woman by the name of Lusine Arustamyan, 41, who was killed before the New Year holidays.
The woman’s debtor, a businesswoman who conducts trade in a local market, is the suspect in the murder of Arustamyan, a mother of three children.
According to the investigation report, Lusine Arustamyan had come to Georgievsk to ask for the money she had lent to her 40-year-old associate.
But an argument had started between the two women, and the debtor stabbed the lender, dismembered her body, put it in a bag, and threw it into the Podkumok River, according to MK Kavkaz.
The aforesaid protesters and the victim’s husband, Armen Hayrapetyan, have called on the local law enforcement agencies to conduct an impartial investigation into this murder.
