YEREVAN. - The handicraft exhibition “Dzknarat”(Fish Abundance) of Armenian artist Ani Hovak opened at Yerevan’s “Navavar” wine house today.

About 25 works made by Ani Hovak during recent four years and mainly depicting fish were exhibited at the event.

The artist told Armenian News – NEWS.am that fish prevails in her collages, but she is not afraid of choosing non-standard formats. Hovak also noted that she will continue painting fish. In her words, the collages are made of different articles - nails, threads, screws, stones, etc.

“I like to pass my energy to  people through my works. I get pleasure out of my works and it makes me happy to see others happy too. I like to get the images of fish by means of collages. I like the sea,” she said.

The exhibition will run for a month.
