YEREVAN. – In 2016, Armenia will allocate 100 million drams (approx. $201,984) to the schools in the Armenian diaspora.
The respective decision was adopted at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.
The Minister of Diaspora, Hranush Hakobyan, noted that 73.5 million drams (approx. $148,458) will be provided for the school textbooks, and 6 million drams (approx. $12,119) will be allotted for creating new education materials.
