Armenian National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan paid a working visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic today.

Chairmen of the Permanent Parliamentary Committees Artak Zakaryan and Artak Davtyan, MP Tevan Poghosyan and heads of government staff departments accompanied the Speaker during his visit.

In Shushi, the guests were welcomed by the Speaker of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic National Assembly, Ashot Ghoulian. 

On the sidelines of the working visit, Sahakyan and the delegation led by Deputy Speaker of Karabakh Parliament Vahram Balayan, visited Stepanakert Memorial Complex, where the wreath-laying ceremony took place.

The guests laid wreaths at the graves of the freedom fighters, who fell for the independence and freedom of Karabakh.

In the afternoon, Sahakyan will meet with the representatives of legislative and supreme authorities of Karabakh.
