A considerable escalation of tension was recorded from Thursday to early Friday morning, along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.
During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired over 4,500 shots at the Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry, a mortar, and grenade launchers.
Vanguard units of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army, however, took retaliatory measures to suppress the aggressive “activeness” by the adversary, and continued confidently conducting their military watch.
