YEREVAN. - The objective of the UK Embassy is to come up with new initiatives on the development of Armenian-British relations.

Newly-appointed UK Ambassador to Armenia, Judith Margaret Farnworth, told the aforementioned to the journalists today.

In the Ambassador’s words, this is her work and she wants to continue the development in that direction very much.

Shortly after and before the visit of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to Britain by the end of October 2015, a number of high-level meetings took place with ministers, including FM Edward Nalbandian, Justice Minister Arpine Hovhannisyan and First Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan.

According to Ms Farnworth, analogous visits are expected to take place from Great Britain. The Action Plan for the whole year is now being worked out, she added.
