Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian today met with Miroslav Lajčák, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

The FMs attached importance to the regular high-level meetings in terms of ensuring dynamic development of relations between the two friendly countries.

In this context, deepening of political dialogue, expansion of legal framework, strengthening of cooperation within international organizations, as well as  intensification of trade and economic relations were stressed, Armenian MFA press-service reports.

Edward Nalbandian and Miroslav Lajčák exchanged views on the Armenia-EU relations, as well as the ongoing cooperation in that format.

Apart from this, the sides touched on pressing international and regional issues.

FM Nalbandian also presented to his counterpart the joint efforts exerted by Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs towards the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
