YEREVAN. - “Prosperous Armenia” party (PAP) MP Aragats Akhoyan knows the formula of successful work of government coalition.

Referring to the productivity of the coalition between the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun, he told Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent: “The productivity is in seeing the process in a different light: the decisions will be taken collegially and this is important.”

Akhoyan, who is from Armenia’s Aragatsotn province, noted that this province, which will be “handed” to ARF Dashnaktsutyun, has various issues, like the entire republic. But he found it difficult to respond to the question on what he expects from the new Dashnaktsutyun governor.  

“It depends on how different leverages will be used in favor of the people. I can’t say what will happen, but the factor of a new person will bring about changes. Several times we used to see RPA and ARF-D governors, and there is little difference between them. But there is a difference in style,” Akhoyan said.

According to the hearsay, Aragats Akhoyan runs for the office of Aragatsotn province governor.
