YEREVAN. – Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian on Saturday met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova, Andrei Galbur, in Munich, Germany.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, congratulating his counterpart on assuming the office of the Foreign Minister of Moldova, Nalbandian attached importance to the implementation of consistent steps aimed at the development of bilateral relations.

Galbur, for his part, noted that Moldova is interested in making cooperation with Armenia grow deeper.

The parties discussed the avenues for the intensification of political dialogue, expansion of the legal framework, and strengthening of cooperation within international organizations.

A reference was made also to the pressing regional and international issues.
