Border guards at Lviv Oblast (province) of Ukraine detained an Armenian citizen, on Sunday.

The offender, who was heading toward the Ukrainian-Polish border, was apprehended 1km away from the border. 

The man had identification documents in his possession.

He was taken to the border patrol service unit, to ascertain the circumstances of this incident, according to Rupor news portal of Ukraine.
