YEREVAN. – The Aurora Dialogues, which are held within the framework of the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity events, on Saturday kicked off at Armenian capital city Yerevan’s Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran, which is one of the world’s oldest repositories of ancient manuscripts.

The respective discussions are devoted to most urgent humanitarian problems and challenges in the world.

The event has brought together the world’s leading scholars, philanthropists, media analysts, and philanthropy experts.

In addition, results of the Humanitarian Index new annual research survey also will be announced during these dialogues. This survey studies the global humanitarian crises, their causes, and those who can resolve them.

The 100 LIVES and the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity recognize people who have risked their lives to help others, including for helping Armenians after the Genocide in 1915.
