A new earthquake measuring 5.8 magnitude hit the coasts of Ecuador. Tremors started about 26 kilometers to the west of Muisne and 220 kilometers to west of the capital city, Quito. The earthquake occurred at a depth of ten kilometers .

There is no information about possible destructions or fatalities. There are no reports of a threat of a possible tsunami as well, writes "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" . It is important to remind, that 7,8 magnitude earthquake of April 16, killed 600 people .
