It would be desirable if Obama used the word "genocide", but he in his speech directly pinpoints the elements of the crime of the genocide, stated Davit Harutyunyan, the head of the Armenian Government Staff, in his interview with reporters in Tsitsernakaberd on April 24.

 "Barack Obama is a lawyer, and if one listens closely to the wording he has used for three consecutive years, s/he will realize that he points directly to the elements of the crime of the genocide . That is, in fact , a reflection of what the international documents call a genocide " , said Harutyunyan. He also added that, from this point of view, we must do a step backward and express our gratitude for the fact that he , in fact, calls it a genocide .
