YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan instructed police to enhance patrols, spokesperson for the Armenian president Vladimir Hakobyan said, adding that the president is being informed about the ongoing activities.
The health ministry is carrying out necessary activities to provide medical aid to the injured.
Hakobyan also warned against spreading unconfirmed reports.
A blast in a bus in Yerevan reportedly killed two and injured seven people on Monday. Police are working at the site.
Seven people, including a teenage boy and a pregnant woman, have been hospitalized.
Talking to reporters, chief of Armenian police said the cause of the incident will be clear in several hours.
