Hillary Clinton from the Democrats and Donald Trump from the Republican won landslide victories in the primary elections for the US presidency. Trump was the main winner of the fourth Super Tuesday. He won with a distinct advantage in all five states where the votes took place.

In Pennsylvania the billionaire received 57 % of the votes. His main rival in Pennsylvania was the Senator Ted Cruz - 21.4 %, in Ohio the Governor John Kasica - 19.3 %. In Maryland, the billionaire took 55 % of the votes, the governor - 22.4 % , whereas the senator - 18.9 % . In Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island Trump received from 58 to 64 % of the votes, whereas his rivals even have not reached the mark of 40 % .

In order to win in the Republican Party convention, which will be held in July in Cleveland (Ohio) , he needs to obtain votes of 1237  delegates. After the current Super Tuesday had taken place, the total of Trump’s votes made 950, Cruise’s - 560 , whereas Kasica’s - 153. Clinton could not win her competitor the Senator Sanders with hands down. In Rhode Island Bernie Sanders gained 55 % of the votes against 43 % of the former Secretary of State and received 33 electoral votes.

The most stubborn struggle was held in Connecticut: the current score there is 51:47 in favor of the former secretary of state. In the remaining states, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware, Clinton won with a distinct advantage, gaining from 56 to 69% of the votes.

The best indicator of Sanders in Pennsylvania is 43%. For the overall victory at the Democratic National Convention that will take place in July in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) the candidates need to get the support of 2383 delegates. According to the estimates of journalists, Clinton, having the support of 2141 delegates, has come very close to that point, whereas Sanders is far behind: he has only 1321 votes, reports RIA Novosti.
