YEREVAN. -- The indifferent and tolerant attitude of the international community to the Azerbaijani actions encourages the aggressor, said the spokesman for President of the Nagorno Karabakh David Babayan in an interview with the Armenian News - NEWS.am .

Commenting on the situation on the contact line and the permanent attacks by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on Karabakh settlements, Babayan noted that the situation now is by and large of a little difference from what we have had  after the four-day war. Nevertheless, he added that there are a number of factors that urge Azerbaijan to enlarge its terrorist and wrecking activities.

"Firstly, it is the visit of the Turkish President  to Azerbaijan. Erdogan is known of being a supporter of the radical pan-Turkism. His connections with the Islamic State are also known. In fact, the elder brother has assured the younger with a support," said David Babayan. The second important factor, according to him, is holding the UN Alliance of Civilizations Forum in Baku . "It is sad that a number of politicians, scientists , representatives of democratic countries not only agreed to visit Baku, but also made positive assessments.

One of the most heinous methods of supporting terrorism is a tolerant position of Europe. The European countries’ positive assessments of that dictatorship county contribute to crime . Let them come to Nagorno-Karabakh and see firsthand the consequences of what the country they praise have done. Instead of being guided by truth and justice, those figures stuff their stomachs with caviar and pockets with manat,"concluded David Babayan .
