YEREVAN. - The work on drawing out an agreement on mutual military assistance with the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) is underway, Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian said in the parliament Wednesday.
“You should know very well that this is no easy process: it requires expert and other work. Once this work is completed, the relevant structures will express their opinion. The agreement will be signed in due time,” Nalbandian noted.
Following the launch of military actions by Azerbaijan against Nagorno-Karabakh in early April, Armenian President assigned the MFA to connect with the NKR MFA regarding the issue of signing an agreement on military mutual assistance.
