A massive replica of Noah’s Ark could be brought from the Netherlands to Brazil, across the Atlantic Ocean, for this summer’s Olympic Games, according to Fox News.

The ark, which is built by Dutch carpenter Johan Huibers, is currently moored in Dordrecht, some 100 kilometers south of Amsterdam.

Hauling it across the ocean in time to reach an international audience would cost an estimated $1.5 million.

Huibers had first considered building a replica of Noah’s Ark back in 1992, and completing the 2,500-ton ark took more than four years.

The vessel is 125 meters long, 29 meters wide, and 23 meters high.

The ark can hold up to 5,000 people, reported Lenta.ru, a Moscow-based online newspaper.
