YEREVAN. – A total of 45 industrial accidents, and due to a violation of workplace safety rules, were recorded in Armenia last year, informs the website of the National Statistical Service.

And five people have died as a result of these accidents.

Four of them lost their lives in the mining industry and open-pit mining, and one person died in the electricity, natural gas, steam and air conditioning supply.

In addition, two accidents occurred in capital city Yerevan while on way to work, and two women were injured as a result.
