Three of those who died in the tragic road accident, which occurred in Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, were husband and wife and their ten-month-old daughter.
Norakert village prefect Gerasim Sargsyan, who is the fellow villager of the wife, told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“And the other daughter was taken to hospital,” he added.
The other vehicle’s driver and two passengers, who also died in the accident, were from Vardenis town.
Those who died in the tragic crash are Mercedes’ driver A. Nalbandyan and passengers Hayk Martirosyan, 30, and Mher Khachatryan, 32, and Kia’s driver S. Grigoryan and his wife Margarita Avetisyan, 29, and daughter Narine Grigoryan, reported Shamshyan.com.
As reported earlier, a road accident occurred on Sunday at 10:42pm on the Vardenis-Karchaghbyur motorway, near Tsovak village in Gegharkunik Province.
It was found out that a Mercedes C220 and a Kia Sorento had crashed on the Martuni-Vardenis sector of the M11 Highway.
Six people died, and one small child was hospitalized.
The circumstances behind the incident are being ascertained.
