YEREVAN. – We have not exhausted our expectations from Russia, whereas the creation of anti-Russian waves in Armenia is insincere, ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Deputy Chairman Armen Ashotyan said at a press conference on Monday.

He stated this reflecting on the query as to why not all Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member countries stand with Armenia.

“We [i.e. Armenia] entered the organization where there is Russia; when entering the CSTO we have not placed our hopes on other countries,” said Ashotyan. “Our expectations need to be anchored in our international opportunities.”

The RPA deputy chairman stressed, however, that the resolution of the matter should be awaited from neither Washington nor Brussels nor Moscow.
