YEREVAN. – The 37-year-old pregnant woman, who was injured in the recent bus explosion in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, will be discharged from the Republican Institute of Reproductive Health, Perinatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology on Monday.

The Ministry of Health informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that according to Razmik Abrahamyan, the Ministry Chief Obstetrician and Gynecologist, the woman and the fetus are in good health condition. The specialized consultations will continue at home.

The two teens, who also were injured in the bus blast and are in the intensive care unit at Sourb Astvatsamayr (Holy Mother of God) Medical Center, are in stable condition and progress is recorded. As per Intensive Care Unit Head Anna Chobanyan, multi-disciplinary treatment of these teens continues. The possibility of moving these two boys to the patients’ ward will be considered in the latter half of the week. 

The treatment of three others who were injured in the explosion is still in progress at “Armenia” Medical Center. Doctors say they are in satisfactory condition. Two of them, who had sustained eardrum injuries, will undergo surgery in the coming days.

The blast had occurred on April 25 at around 9:45pm in a public transport bus.

There were two casualties and eight injured.
