The recession of the Russian economy will have a negative impact on ratings of a number of the CIS countries in the next two years , reports Moody's international rating agency. According to the agency , five of nine CIS countries preserve negative forecasts , which can lead to a reduction of their ratings in the future.
"The economies, financial sectors and fiscal positions of CIS countries will continue to suffer from depressed oil prices. This will constrain sovereign ratings over the next two years," says Kristin Lindow, an expert at Moody's. According to the latest forecast of Moody 's about Russia , Russia’s GDP may fall by the end of 2016 by 1.5 %, while the budget deficit will cut in half , reports Gazeta.
