The Internal Security Agency in Poland conducted surveillance of 52 journalists at the time of the governance of the Civic Platform party, said Mariusz Kamiński, a member of the Law and Justice party, responsible for the work of the intelligence agencies. He spoke in the Seim during the presentation of the report on activities of the former minister who was in power from 2007 to 2015, reports TASS.

"The security services were spying after 52 journalists”, he said. “They tapped their phones , monitored their location, got information on everyone they contacted with , learnt how frequently they were contacting with them, collected addresses and data about their families ".

In addition, according to Kaminski , the security services were spying after  the journalists during their meetings and were taking pictures. They also used technology while spying after of seven journalists, which allowed to identify all the numbers they called.  Kamiński evaluated the situation as unjustified and illegal.
