The head of the authoritative international organization - PACE - previously known for his biased position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, made another pro-Azerbaijani statement.

According to APA,  the Chairman of the Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijani Oktay Asadov met the chairman of the PACE Pedro Agramunt in St. Petersburg.

Among other things, Pedro Agramunt stated that the position of PACE and his personal position are that the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, and all the conflicts as a whole should be resolved within the territorial integrity of the countries. He also mentioned that for this position, he was subjected to sharp criticism of the Armenian side and even some lawmakers who spoke unflatteringly about him. However, he said that this has no value for him, as he is confident in fairness of his position.  The main issue for him is the fastest settlement of the conflict, and he will make every effort for this purpose.
