In the recent years in Chicago ( Illinois ), more than 140 members of criminal groups and drug sellers were arrested during their major operation.

"Those individuals need to know that if they don't choose to take an alternative lifestyle then we'll bring everything we have at our disposal, including our federal partners to come at them to put the weight of the Chicago Police Department on them to stop them from driving the violence in our city," said the head of the Police Department Eddie Johnson.

During the searches and round-ups 25 units of unregistered firearms and drugs that cost more than 45 thousand dollars were disclosed , reports  TASS.

The municipal police used a special list with about 1.3 thousand people on it. Mostly, there are people who violated the law repeatedly and are registered in the database of law enforcement agencies. With the help of a specially developed algorithm the people who are most inclined to violence and usage were included in that lis .
