YEREVAN. – The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship is the sole format that has an international mandate to achieve a settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, stated about the abovementioned in his statement on the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of Armenia’s joining the Council of Europe.

Nalbandian added that the attempts to bring conflict settlement process out of this format can only undermine the pacific and negotiated resolution of this conflict.

In his words, for years, the people of Nagorno-Karabakh fight for the most important of human rights, the right to life, which in this case is possible solely by exercising the right to self-determination.
