The Russian side is ready to promote the goods of Armenian producers in the country’s regions, First Deputy Minister of Russian Economic Development, Alexey Likhachev, told Armenian journalists in Moscow Saturday.

In his words, they are ready to promote the Armenian producer in those regions of Russia, which are more attractive for the Armenian side. “Of course, there are [certain] difficulties related to transportation, but we are solving the matter,” he noted.

Likhachev also stressed that the membership of Armenia to the World Trade Organization (WTO) is very important to Russia, since this gives the latter an opportunity to promote its goods to Iran and third countries.
