STEPANAKERT. - Once Azerbaijan feels it has an opportunity to achieve at least miniscule success, it will try to launch another venture, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) National Assembly (NA) MP from Democratic Party of Artsakh (DPA) faction, Vardges Baghryan, told Armenian News – NEWS.am. 

In his words, the April aggression proved this. “We know that certain defensive posts remained under their control, but this doesn’t mean that Azerbaijan has achieved the supposed success.  They planned to reach Sarsang Reservoir. The April events revealed our omissions and we must definitely take this into account,” Baghryan noted.

According to the MP, Azerbaijan hasn’t become cleverer and will not stop its attempts to take provocative steps towards new ventures. “We must be ready to any scenario, including military actions. Azerbaijan considered that if the balance of arms was violated in its favor, it could achieve military success. This hasn’t largely taken place,” Baghryan said.
