In 92 areas of Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan there is identified a landslide danger, where  a series of devastating earthquakes took place in mid- April. Aftershocks of the earthquakes are still occurring, reported RIA Novosti referring to Asahi. In order to protect against landslides in dangerous areas it is necessary to take emergency measures before the start of the rainy season , which may start since 5 June.

There occurred a powerful 6.5 -magnitude earthquake on April 14 in Kumamoto and Oita prefectures. After two days another strong earthquake was recorded.  On Monday, according to Japanese seismologists, in Kukamoto 2.6 magnitude earthquake was registered.
