YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received a call on Sunday at 1:13am.

Accordingly, a passenger van had gone off road at a highway in Gyumri city, hit a pole, and there were injured and assistance was needed.

A fire and rescues squad was dispatched to the scene.

As a result of this crash, driver A. D., 27, and passengers A. Kh., 43, A. S.,  39, S. H., 39, A. Kh., 56, E. H., 28, A. 37, and A., 32, M. as well as T. Kh., 56, were taken to the Gyumri medical center. T. Kh., however, died en route to the hospital.

The fire and rescue workers removed two passengers from the passenger vehicle, took them to the waiting ambulance, and washed the road.

Doctors say A. Kh., A. Kh., E. H. and A. M. are in very critical condition while the others are in critical condition.
