YEREVAN. – The Armenian army is combat-ready, and it is the guarantee of regional stability and security.

Amo Sharoyan, chairman of Armenia’s ‘“Midia-Shangal’ Yezidi National Union” NGO Board, stated the above-said at a press conference on Tuesday.

But in his words, sadly, the region has always been tense.

“In general, we, Yezidis living in Armenia, are full citizens of Armenia, and defending the homeland is our constitutional obligation, which we fulfill,” stressed Sharoyan. “Glory and honor to our military servicemen, irrespective of their nationality, that they prevented the adversary’s [i.e. Azerbaijan] provocation in April.”
