Restoration work is still underway in Mataghis village of Karabakh’s Martakert region. The houses damaged as a result of artillery shelling from the Azerbaijani side are being restored.

Head of Mataghis administration, Vladik Khachatryan, told Armenian News – NEWs.am that the houses are restored for already the second time.

Following the military actions in early April, the broken windows in the mentioned houses were changed, but in late April the Azerbaijani Armed Forces again fired at the village and the restoration work had thus to be stopped.

Mataghis residents have already returned to their houses, Khachatryan added.
