YEREVAN. – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Robert Harutyunyan held meeting with the new ambassador of Australia Peter Tesh (the residence in Moscow).During the meeting the ambassador presented the copies of his credentials.

Deputy Minister wished the Australian diplomat success in implementation of high mission and expressed hope that the Ambassador's activities will contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations and new gain a new momentum, Armenian News - NEWS.am reported quoting the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

In turn, the ambassador noted that Australia is interested in development of relations with Armenia both in political, economic and cultural spheres. He highly appreciated a role of the Armenian community of Australia in strengthening of relations between two countries.

The interlocutors discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, in particular, cooperation within the international organizations. The sides touched upon regional and international issues.
