China's richest man, the head of Dalian Wanda Group, Wang Jianlin, said that in the next 20 years he will make the business of Walt Disney in China, the thematic park of which will open in Shanghai in mid-June, unprofitable.

On May 28, there will open Wanda City entertainment complex in the administrative center of Jiangxi province, Nanchang city, which is to become the rival of Disneyland. The complex will have a shopping center, indoor theme parks , a number of cafes , hotels , cinemas, and venues. According to the company, the open-air park will be of the same size as the expected Disneyland in Shanghai.

The Chinese billionaire says that the climate in Shanghai is not favorable for the outdoor parks. There are dozens of rainy days in summer, and it can be quite cold in winter. In addition, the magnate believes that the days when people were blindly following the Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck have passed.   He also believes that the construction of the park is too expensive. Consequently, there will be set high prices which means the company will lose customers.

Wang Jianlin, said that Disney should not have come to China. Wang plans to open 15-20 new entertainment zones throughout the country , therefore the Disney with its sole park in Shanghai will hardly be able to stand the competition.
